Shipping Overview

Each MeiJi & co. soap is handcrafted in small batches. Variations in color and design are part of its artisanal nature and not considered defects.

We currently ship across Canada and the United States.
Please note that U.S. customers may be subject to import duties or fees based on current trade regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Shipping Coverage
We ship to all 10 provinces and 3 territories.

 

Rates
Flat-rate shipping is available for orders under 5 kg.
For remote areas or P.O. boxes, additional carrier surcharges may apply. If so, we will contact you by email to review options before proceeding.

  • Standard: Canada Post, FedEx Ground, UPS Standard

  • Expedited options: UPS Express, FedEx

  • Local pickup: Available (free)

  • Customer-arranged courier: Available upon request

If you prefer a specific courier, please contact us and we’ll be happy to provide a custom shipping quote.

Important Notes
Delivery times may be affected by customs processing or border delays, which are outside of our control.

Processing Time

​

We aim to prepare orders as quickly as possible.

  • Canada orders: 1–3 business days

  • U.S. orders: 2–5 business days

Processing times may vary during peak periods. Express shipping options are available at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

​

Due to the nature of our products, returns and exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis and require mutual agreement between the buyer and MeiJi & co.

Incorrect Orders

​

Mistakes are rare—but if they happen, we’ll make it right.

If you receive an incorrect item:

  • We will send the correct product at no additional cost

  • We will arrange for the return of the original item

Damaged Orders

​

If your order arrives damaged, we’ve got you covered.

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging

Once reviewed, a replacement will be shipped within 48 hours.

Shipping Responsibility

While we work with trusted carriers, delivery timelines may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier delays

  • Customs processing (for U.S. orders)

These factors are beyond our control, but we will always do our best to support you.
