Tea : camellia sinensis

It (Teaism) inculcates purity and harmony, the mystery of mutual charity, the romanticism of the social order. It is essentially a worship of the Imperfect, as it is a tender attempt to accomplish something possible in this impossible thing we know as life. The Book of Tea by Okakura Kakuzō.

The, Thé, té, tè, chá, chai, all mean the same drink but in different languages. You can have hot brewed, cold infused, add milk, sugar, and even grain like Genmaicha from Japan.

Tea contains antioxidants and contribute to our physical and mental health if consumed regularly. In this article published on WebMD, there have been founding of researches stating that drinking tea aides conditions of diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and weight loss.

Basic categories of tea are Black, White, Green, Oolong, Pu’erh, Flavoured Tea, and Herbal tea. We are going to present some teas in the next few weeks. Stay tunes.
